It's time for a hair massage, right?
I just discovered this new French hair care brand called FAUVE or should I say, my attempt of becoming a beauty influencer?
Last week, I got a message from Marine the founder of Fauve to invite me to discover their boutique & haircare studio. She offers me to try out the new energizing signature treatment which is their best selling hair massage that energizes the circulatory and energy system.
I was at first surprised by her proposal and thought it was a fake account ! But because she is called Marine too and I liked her brand name, I thought why not to give it a try, after all I could definitively use a hair massage…
I went to their lovely studio in Le Marais and had a nice chat with her. This reminded me of the beauty of early Internet years where you could connect to strangers and chat online and share common points. This is why I like to meet new people, it’s so refreshing to share stories about life and in her case how to build a brand. We had a long conversation about her first brand that didn’t work out, she had to restart all over again and come back with this new version to finally get a successful project.
This was very inspiring I wish I recorded our conversation, she gave me interesting advices like why she said no to a big pop up store with a giant retail shop to keep exclusivity in her boutique. The biggest mistake most of new brands do is to get too fast too soon and I quite agree with her, like she said in the end it could have bad repercussions to build too fast too soon without an increasing activity curve.
Bla bla bla and then I went for an hour of hair massage! This was unexpected and almost fell asleep. I really enjoyed it even if sometimes it gives you weird sensations as it stimulate some parts of your head you don’t touch really.
Going in my thirties feel like it’s more & more important to take care of your body as it’s your main instrument of work. Don’t underestimate the power of quiet times, digital breaks for our brain and meditation (I still need to work on that one). Listen to your body and it will give you all the answers… But this will be another post about spirituality…
I forgot the most important ! Everything is made in France with natural ingredients.
Also, she told me how important it is to moisturize your scalp indeed because most hair care we use are on the dead hairs so technically it’s not really doing anything.
I haven’t try it yet but she said to use this hair oil once in a week, only put tiny drops on the hands and give you a hair massage like 10 minutes. Voila!
Treat yourself good and book a massage now.
(This is a great gift idea too :) Thats all for now.
